Syd (she/her) is an Art Director at Rethink Canada. She ruins every group photo she's in by giving a thumbs up.

After graduating from Capilano University's IDEA program, she spent some years fighting capitalism working for Adbusters Magazine where she learned that it's much more lucrative to sell-out. So that’s exactly what she did.

She has had the pleasure of working with many great clients including McCain, A&W, IKEA, Destination Canada, YWCA, Purdys, London Drugs, Athleta, Yeti Cycles, SRAM, Lululemon, BC Cancer Foundation, Sugoi, Abus, SAXX and more.

Syd is a previous Co-Publisher and Creative Director and current Creative Coordinator of SAD Magazine, an independent art and design magazine with a focus on supporting emerging artists and writers, based in Vancouver, BC.

And yes, Danger really is her middle name.

ILLUSTRATION

Syd's illustrations are inspired by tarot, folklore, myths, and the unknown. Her work has been featured in shows such as Slice of Life: Spooky Collective, CARDED!, Get Lucky, SNAG, Vancouver Mural Festival Year 4 & 5, 100 Amigos and more.
